This post is short and sweet 😛
As a creative individual, I like to explore many forms of art, for example Music, spoken words and poetry . In the months coming up to valentines, i began to brainstorm ideas of what to contribute to the very crowded and commercialized season. Last year I stated that Valentines is not a big deal, I stand by my words, but whilst I don’t buy into all the fuss, I do like that it encourages us to think about Love. Like all my posts, my aim is always to encourage my readers to think for themselves. When it comes to the matters of the heart, it is even more important that we make more of an effort to do so. This can be very difficult as every second we are bombarded by images that ultimately influence our ideas on what love is and what it should look like.
This year I decided to do something a little different and tap into my love for spoken word poetry. With the help of an amazing team I was able to create “love (online vs reality).” The aim was to draw your attention to the contemporary ideas on love and the reality of love which is rarely captured.
I hope you enjoy it.
